The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms lacked a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, which are standard, making it inconvenient. They also tended to get quite warm during the day, and there was even a barking dog. On the bright side, the service was top-notch, with very friendly and helpful staff. The location was good, just an 8-minute walk from Central Station, offering a pleasant place to relax with superb local beers. The dining was excellent, especially compared to other Scandic hotels, with a superb breakfast setting guests up for the day. However, ongoing maintenance issues affected the overall impression, but it was still a decent place to stay.
